To qualify for Nova Scotia Student Financial Assistance for Full-Time Studies, you must:
- Be a Canadian citizen, Landed Immigrant (with proof for first-time applicants), or Protected Person.
- Have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN).
- Be a resident of Nova Scotia (or any province for Part-Time Studies).
- Be enrolled in a designated, full-time program leading to a degree, diploma, or certificate.
- Maintain good standing on any previous student loans.
- Meet academic requirements (pass 60% of a full course load, or 40% if you have a disability).
- You must also qualify for Canada Student Loans and Grants to access Nova Scotia assistance.
