Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Own property in the City of Brantford
- Have paid all property taxes when applying for the grant
- Have an existing sanitary sewer lateral
Please note that grant approvals are subject to funding availability on a first-come first-served basis. Grant approvals will only be valid for six months from the approval date and will expire if:
• Work is not completed
• We do not receive confirmation of payment for work completed
• Sanitary sewer lateral replacement or relining inspections are not satisfactory
• Other forms are incomplete
Proof of residency in Province/ Territory

Proof of residency in Region or municipality
Proof of Expenses / cost estimates
For example:
Receipts, fuel, electricity or oil consumption bills, services and equipment estimates, medical expenses, student loans, property taxes, mortgage payments, all others.
To apply for the Private Sanitary Sewer Lateral Replacement program, applicants must complete and submit an online application.
Applicants must also include itemized quotes from licensed contractors in the City of Brantford.
