Tax filing not required

The AccessAbility Supports program helps people living with disabilities access a variety of services to meet their individual needs. This program supports people living with all disabilities, including physical, intellectual, neurological, sensory, and mental, to access tools they need to reach your full potential.

Help is available under five key areas:

  • Personal supports to help with daily living such as life skills training, technical aids and assistive devices, in-home supports or personal care workers.
  • Housing supports to help with independent living such as financial assistance for daily supervision in community residential setting or home and vehicle modifications.
  • Community supports to help with active participation in the community such as support to find or keep a job, day programming, or personal aid.
  • Caregiver supports to help family or caregivers such as caregiver respite, in-home supervision so caregivers can go to work or school.
  • Financial supports to help with basic living expenses such as food, clothing, shelter, household and personal supplies through Assured Income.

A supports coordinator will work with you to understand how the disabilities affect activities of daily living and develop a personalized plan that meets your individual needs.
